Commercial Storm Damage Response

Wind, hail, heavy rain, and falling debris can expose a commercial property in minutes. We coordinate temporary protection, water mitigation, cleanup, documentation, and the repairs that follow.

Commercial response capabilities

Organized around the property and the operation.

We adjust the scope, work zones, equipment, access, and communication plan to the conditions at the facility. The goal is to control additional damage, keep decision-makers informed, and move the property toward safe repairs.

Our commercial process

Secure the building. Control the damage. Plan the repairs.

Storm recovery begins with safety and temporary protection. From there, we address water intrusion, document the affected areas, and organize a permanent repair plan around the facility.

Confirm the property is safe to approach

Storm losses may involve downed power lines, gas leaks, unstable walls, roof damage, broken glass, or standing water. Emergency services and utility providers must address active hazards before restoration work begins.

Coordinate the emergency response

We establish an authorized site contact, review building access, identify critical spaces and operations, and determine the immediate labor, equipment, and temporary protection needs.

Secure exposed areas

Damaged openings may be boarded, tarped, or temporarily protected when conditions allow. The purpose is to reduce additional rain intrusion, debris entry, and unauthorized access until permanent repairs can be completed.

Inspect and document storm damage

We evaluate affected roofing, exterior openings, interiors, contents, and structural materials. Photos and site observations help create a practical mitigation and repair plan for property and claims contacts.

Remove water and begin drying

If rain or flooding entered the building, standing water is extracted and affected materials are mapped. Air movers, dehumidifiers, and other equipment may be installed to begin structural drying.

Remove debris and unstable materials

Broken finishes, wet insulation, ceiling materials, and other debris are removed in a controlled manner when they cannot be safely retained. Work zones are organized to protect unaffected areas and building occupants.

Protect contents and support continuity

Equipment, inventory, furnishings, and records are protected or relocated as appropriate. For occupied facilities, the work may be phased to preserve access to unaffected areas whenever conditions permit.

Develop the permanent repair scope

We organize the information needed for roof, exterior, structural, interior, and finish repairs. Engineers, electricians, roofers, or other specialty professionals may be included when the conditions require them.

Reconstruct and complete the recovery

Permanent exterior protection and interior reconstruction are coordinated through final finishes and cleanup. A final walkthrough reviews completed work and any remaining operational considerations.

Do not enter an unsafe storm-damaged building. Downed utilities, structural movement, active roof failure, or other hazards may require clearance from emergency services, utility providers, or qualified specialists before restoration begins.
